"What makes me think I can start clean slated..."

"...the hardest to learn is the least complicated." ~Emily Saliers, The Indigo Girls

I've been throwing around the idea of starting up a blog again, as I did it before and loved it. Born to write, it just tickles my soul to share with others the good and bad of life, and even more interesting (as I've been lovingly told from a good friend recently) my philosophies of life. Odd views and spirituality, as I've always believed, but interesting enough for someone...at least a few others...to want to hear more of.

(Funny how that feeling that is found within the gut when you know you speak a truth, and your ego tries to play "tug-of-war" with it saying "Yeah, right!" That feeling...we'll keep ignoring that for now: as I was saying...)

Through juggling contemplation for quite a while, I realized that I must start from the very beginning: clean slating it, as I'm going to call it, thanks to the Indigo Girls (one of my fav's, BTW). Looking at my old blog, I was not only in another place as a home-owner, 3 years ago, but a totally different state of mind. My diet has changed (being a 50% cooking blog it was Paula Deen-ish....I LOVE her, but my heart doesn't), my 5 children have grown out of the house to not only gift me with a grand-child, a step-son who just stepped onto the ground in Germany before heading to Afghanistan, hubby in college, trying to restart my business instead of working, and the last bird in the nest homeschooling for her high-school years....yes, much different.

One day at a time in the life of me....it's worth sharing ;)
